For my final major project, I decided to create my own clothing brand. This is something I’ve always wanted to do and so as my last university project, I thought what better time to do it. The outcomes of this project include a lookbook, brand book, and marketing content.
THE BRAND
Deaths due to alcohol and drug misuse in young people are at their highest since 1993, and with over 7,500 hospital drug-related submissions in the last year, as a brand we feel an awareness should be raised of the dangers and the jeopardizing outcome of misusing drugs. At Lucid we wanted to not only create creatively illustrated designs on t-shirts but to create a safe space for individuals who have or are struggling with drug use. Lucid’s designs are carefully curated to express a strong streetwear style as well as including details that are drug and alcohol-related to coincide with the theme of the festival culture.
