PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
For my second-year professional practice module, I decided to interview and create a magazine/article on womenswear fashion designer Deborah Brand.
Deborah Brand is a London-based luxury womenswear designer specialising in bespoke body conscious evening wear, bridal gowns, and modern corsetry. She began her career in 1990 and has worked/dressed clients such as Penelope Cruz, Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian and featured in magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Brand’s main work focus at the moment is corsetry and the most recent release of her first ‘Ready-To-Wear’ corset has been very successful.
MUTE MAGAZINE
Platfform Mute Magazine is a magazine created by the class of 2020 Fashion Promotion, University of South Wales. I was a part of the social media team for the magazine and my roles were to promote the magazine effectively, consistently create content, and record and promote all events which were happening in the creation of the magazine.
